We bought Diablo to coincide with the release of a house we bought at Deganwy Quay in North Wales. We signed up for the house in August 2001. It became available in November 2004.  

When signing up for the house we stipulated that we wanted a marina berth which would be as close to the house as possible so that I could keep an eye on my pride and joy. This picture shows the back of the house (the white one) and Diablo as well. Doesn’t get better than that !

Deganwy is a village on the Conwy river estuary. Deganwy Quay is a new marina/housing development which has been recently built and is due for final completion during 2005.

The picture above shows the new marina in use and the housing partially completed. The picture on the right shows the site on the day that we signed up for our house. The old boathouse is exactly in the location where our house now stands

The Quay itself was originally a tidal dock which was used as a harbour for boats taking welsh slate to other parts of the country and also Europe.
