(Q) It sounds expensive for a small business how do I know I get value for money?
(A) Peninsula’s Small Business Service works out to the equivalent of £78+VAT per month which enables you to meet your statutory legal requirements. You will benefit from employment documentation, 24 hour Advice Line employment and health and safety advice line to ensure you are always working within best practice. In addition, we offer indemnity to protect your bottom line if you are ever faced with a tribunal and the legal costs and awards which will be covered as part of this all inclusive service.
(Q) What is the maximum number of staff I have to employ to qualify for the small business service?
(A) The number of staff to qualify for the small business service is five or less (including employees, workers, directors and partners), if you have more than five staff please contact Peninsula directly so that we can discuss your business needs.
(Q) What happens if I take your service now and I employ more staff at a later date, do I have to pay more?
(A) No, the small business service fee is fixed at point of entry for the full term even if you employ more staff in the future.
(Q) What documentation do I get?
(A) We provide all you need for a small business to ensure your legal compliance from terms and conditions, statement of main terms to management guides along with an online employment reference manual and updates as the law changes.
(Q) What type of questions can I ask advice line?
(A) You can call the advice line with any questions relating to employee and employment related issues and also any Health & Safety questions.
(Q) What happens if I end up in an employment tribunal?
(A) Peninsula’s service includes an insurance indemnity which covers case preparation, tribunal representation and if needed tribunal awards.
